CLOVER'S CAFE AND TASTE RESTAURANT

We enjoyed a wonderful meal featuring mutton devil, Chettinad chicken, fish curry, and butter & garlic naan – everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The fresh melon mocktail and watermelon juice were refreshing and full of flavor. The mutton Koththu was outstanding! The staff were warm and attentive, and the chef truly made our dinner exceptional. We’ll definitely be visiting again!

Today the 3rd of August, Geoff and I decided to call in at this restaurant for the first time. It was absolutley wonderful! The staff are so helpful and friendly. The food was absolutely Magnificent! I had the fish meal wrapped in a large banana skin and Geoff had a beef curry! I recommend a visit! Seriously! Its so good!

Went this evening with a friend, and what a great decision we made to try “Taste”. The food was fabulous. I sampled foods which I haven’t tried before and this was a great experience in itself. The food was beautifully cooked and flavoursome. The staff were so friendly and obliging. The mango prawn curry was delicious. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. All of the food coming out of the kitchen looked very appetising. We will be returning very soon.

Went here to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends, such a fabulous place, with home style cooked Indian food, each dish with its own individual taste. They are passionate and proud about the food served and your experience. Very friendly and eager to help you in explaining the menu, as we had not seen some of the menu items on offer. Overall a great place to visit and would definitely be coming back as a traditional English breakfast is offered in the morning, but I would like to sample more of the Indian menu.

Wow what a great experience both myself and my husband had the beef curry and it was amazing, food was fresh and tasty they even asked what level of spice we wanted. It is nice to have something so local. The decor inside was lovely and the service was amazing! Will 100% be back. Such a lovely place. The food is amazing, seems very authentic and real fresh ingredients, spices are well balanced and you can tell there’s a lot of care and passion for flavour and creating a positive dining experience! Side note: I have a lactose intolerance, they were kind enough to replace the milk with coconut milk, in the mango milkshake for me - was so yummy (with real mango) Thank you Taste

Wow, this place looks not much from the outside but is totally delicious! Got a takeaway, the food was so good, best I've had in a really long time. All tastes really fresh and well cooked. Reasonable prices (except the rice, strangely), great selection of dishes you don't find at most 'Indian' restaurants. Overall I'm extremely impressed and highly recommend. A+++

I have just been to Taste restaurant and cafe with my family. We had a very enjoyable experience! The mutton devil, parathas and fish cooked in a banana leaf were outstanding. The staff are remarkably pleasant and we will be back soon, for sure.
